6 EN Installing Y our Micro wave Ov en Place the oven on a flat level surface 85cm above the floor. The surface should be strong enough to safety bear the weight of the oven. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
7 EN Checking that Y our Ov en is Operating Correctly The following simple procedure enables you to check that your oven is working correctly at all times. If you are in doubt, refer to the section entitled “What to Do if You are in Doub t or Ha ve a Problem” on t he page.
8 EN Cooking/Reheating The following procedure explains how to cook or re heat food. ALWAYS check you r c ooking settings before leaving the oven unattended. Open the door. Place the food in the centre of the turntable. Close the door. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty.
9 EN Stopping the Cooking You can stop cooking at any time so that you can: • Check the food • Turn the food over or stir it • Leave it to stand Adjusting the Cooking T ime You can increase the cooking time by pressing +30s button onc e for each 30seconds to be added.
10 EN Using the A uto Cook F eature The five Auto Cook( ) features include/provide pre-programmed cooking times. You do no t need to set either the cooki ng times or the power level. You can adjust the size of the serving by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons.
11 EN Using the A uto Reheat F eature The four Auto Reheat( ) features provide four pre -programmed cooking times. You do no t need to set either the cooki ng times or the power level. You can adjust the size of the serving by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons.
12 EN Using the P ow er Defrost F eature The Power Defrost ( ) feature enables you to defrost meat, poultry, fish, bread , cake a nd fruit. The defrost time and power level are set automatically. You can adjust the size of the serving by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons.
13 EN Using the Cafeteria F eature With the Ca feteria( ) feature, the cook ing time is set au tomatically . You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the () and () button. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door.
14 EN Multistage Cooking Your microwave oven can be program med to cook food in up to three stages (the Convection , Microwave+ Convection and Fast Preheat mode can not be used in Multistage cooking). Example: You wish to Power defrost food and cook it without having to reset the oven after each stage.
15 EN Cooking by Con vect ion The convection mode enables you to cook food in the same way as in a traditional oven. The microwave mode is not used. You can set the temperature, as required, in a range varying from 40°C to 250°C in eight preset levels.
16 EN Choosing the Accessories For further details on suitable cookware and utensils, refe r to the Cookware Guide on page 23. Combining Micro waves and the Gri ll You can also combine microwave cook ing with the grill, to cook quick ly and brown at the same time.
17 EN Combining Micro waves and Con vection Combination cooking uses both microwave energy and convection heating. No preheating is required a s the microwave energy is immediately available.
18 EN Using Crust Plate (CE 1070T / CE1070F only) Normally when cook ing in microwave oven, using grill or microwave mode in grill/convection ovens, food s like pastries and pizza become soggy from butt on side. Using the Samsung C rust plate helps to gain a crispy cookde result of your food.
19 EN Crusty Plate Settings (CE1070T / CE1070F onl y) We recommend to preheat crusty plate directly on the turntable. Preheat crusty plate with the 600W + Grill-function for 5 M in.
20 EN Spit-Roasting (CE107 0B / CE1070F only) The barbecue spit is useful for gr illing, as you do not need to turn the meat over. It can be used for combined microwave and Convection cooking. Make sure that th e weight of the meat is evenly distribut ed on the spit and that the spit ro tates e venly.

22 EN Using the Deodorize F eature Use this feature after cooking odorous fo od or when there is a lot of smoke in the oven interior. First clean the oven interio r. The deodorization time has been specified as 5 minutes. You can also adjust Deodorize time by pressing the +30s button.
23 EN Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave ov en, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the food, without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken wh en choosing the cookware . If the cookware is marked microwave-safe, you do not need to worry.
