9 ENGLISH ACCESSORIES Depending on the model that you have purchased, you are supplied with several accessories that can be used in a variety of ways. 1. Coupler , to be placed correctly over the motor shaft in the base of the oven. Purpose: The coupler rotates the turntable.
10 ENGLISH SETTING THE TIME Y our microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. When power is supplied, “:0” , “88:88” or “12:00” is automatically displayed on the display . Please set the current time. The time can be displayed in either the 24- hour or 12-hour notation.
11 ENGLISH The food is either overcooked or under cooked. • Was the appropriat e cooking length set for the type of food? • Was an appropriat e power level chosen? Sparking and cracking occur inside the oven (ar cing).
12 ENGLISH COOKING/REHEA TING The following procedure e xplains how to cook or reheat food. AL WA YS check your cooking settings before leaving the oven unattended. Open the door . Place the food in the centre of the turntable. Close the door . Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty .
13 ENGLISH USING THE AUT O COOK FEA TURE The five Auto Cook ( ) features include/pr ovide pre-progr ammed cooking times. Y ou do not need to set either the cooking times or the power level. Y ou can adjust the size of the serving by turning the Dial knob.
14 ENGLISH The following table presents the various Auto Cook P rogr ammes, quantities, standing times and appropriate r ecommendations. Pr ogrammes no 1 and 2 are running with micr owave energy only . Pr ogrammes no 3 and 4 are running with a combination of micr owaves and grill.

16 ENGLISH F AST PREHEA TING THE OVEN For convection cooking, it is r ecommended that you preheat the oven to the appropriate t emperatur e before placing the food in the oven. When the oven reaches the request ed temper ature, it is maintained for appro ximately 10 minutes; it is then switched o automatically .

Place meat, poultry and fish on a flat glass plate or on a ceramic plat e, arrange br ead and cake on kitchen paper .
18 ENGLISH USING THE SNACK COOK FEA TURE The Junior/Snacks ( ) feature provides six aut o progr ammed for hamburger , ravioli and popcorn, froz en chicken wings, fro zen snacks, nachos. Y ou do not need to set either the cooking time or power level Y ou can adjust the number of servings by turning the Jog Dial.

23 ENGLISH Auto sensor cooking instructions The Auto Sensor allows you to cook your food aut omatically by detecting the amount of gases generat ed from the food while cooking.
24 ENGLISH COOKING B Y CONVEC TION The convection mode enables you to cook food in the same way as in a traditional oven. The micr owave mode is not used. Y ou can set the temper ature, as requir ed, in a range varying from 40 °C t o 220 °C in eight preset levels.
25 ENGLISH CHOOSING THE ACCESSORIES T raditional convection cooking does require cookwar e. Y ou should, however , use only cookware that you would use in your normal oven. Microwave-safe containers are not usually suitable for convection cooking; don’t use plastic containers, dishes, paper cups, towels, etc.
26 ENGLISH USING THE VERTICAL MUL TI-SPIT MUL TI-SPIT FOR KEBAB Using the multi-spit with 6 kebab skewers you can easily barbecue meat, poultry, fish, vegetables (like onions, peppers or courgettes) and fruit which have been cut into pieces. Y ou can prepare the above food with the kebab skewers by using convection or combination mode.
27 ENGLISH COMBINING MICROWA VES AND CONVECTION Combination cooking uses both microwave energy and convection heating. No preheating is requir ed as the microwave energy is immediat ely available.

29 ENGLISH COOKWARE GUIDE T o cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrat e the food, without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used. Care must ther efore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked microwave-safe, you do not need t o worry .
30 ENGLISH COOKING GUIDE MICROWA VES Microwave energy actually penetr ates food, attr acted and absorbed by its water , fat and sugar content. The microwaves cause the molecules in the food to move r apidly . The rapid movement of these molecules creates friction and the r esulting heat cooks the food.
31 ENGLISH Cooking guide for rice and pasta Rice: Use a large glass pyrex bowl with lid - rice doubles in volume during cooking. Cook covered. After the cooking time is over , stir before standing time and salt or add herbs and butter . Remark: the rice may not have absorbed all water after the cooking time is finished.
