Tr oubleshooting (D-Net) Possible Solution Only DTVs, STBs, A V-HDDs, D-VHSs and MPEG camcorder IEEE 1394 devices are controllable. Other devices will display “UNKNOWN” in the device list. Some supported devices may display as “UNKNOWN” due to an initialization error .
English-98 Possible Solution This message appears when the connection speed of the connected device and the device selected from the T arget List are different when copying data.
Possible Solution Check if the current mode for DTV and STB is set to analog by mistake. For A V-HDD, check if the played content has reached the end. (Select the item from the content list again.) For D-VHS, check if a D-VHS tape is being used. If the camcorder supports the DV format, no picture will be displayed on the screen.
English-100 Possible Solution This message appears if you have connected a 1394 device or equipment other than a supported device (D-VHS, DTV , STB, A V-HDD, Camcorder), or if the connected device does not support the A VC defined in the 1394 specifications, even if the device is a supported device, when you have selected the device to use it.
English-101 Replacing the Lamp Appendix • Why do I need to replace the lamp? The lamp used in a DLP TV has a limited lifespan. For the best screen quality it needs to be replaced periodically . After replacing the lamp, the screen quality will be bright and clear as new .
English-102 • For replacement, you will need a 5.91-Inch screwdriver and a pair of gloves. 1 Unplug TV , then use a screwdriver to remove the screws. 2 Remove the Lamp cover . 4 Remove the screw securing the Lamp by using a screwdriver . 3 Remove the Lamp cover duct holding the tab and pulling it out.
