In standby mode, you wi ll see the time, day , and date as well as all phon e status icons.

Three-way Calling Call two other numbers and connect them to your call using three-way calling. 1. In standby mode, enter the nu mber for the first party in your call, then press .

In standby mode, press and r elease the number key representing the first digit of the desired Contact’ s Location number . 2. 36 Section 3 Call Notification Features Y our phone notifies you of a call in a variety of ways. • Nine ring volume settings including 1-beep, Vibrate, Silent, or Vibrate+Ring. • Different ring types or melodies to distinguish callers. • Name display with caller ID.

38 Section 3 Caller ID Caller ID lets you identify who is ca lli ng you by displaying a caller ’s number . If the caller ’s name and number are stor ed in Contacts, the caller ’s name also appears. If you’ve assigned a picture to the entry , it appears in the display as well.

40 Section 3 Calls Y our phone has Call Logs that retain information about Outgoing , Incoming, and Missed Cal ls. The Calls menu lets you access t his informat ion for future r e ference, to return calls, and to add new Contacts. Y ou can also view times for your last call and the total of all calls.

48 Section 3 Name Dial Name Dial lets you dial any person in your Contacts by pronouncing that person’s name. It automatically voice activates every contact in your Contacts without the need to r ecord or “train” names b efore using them. Place a Call Using Name Dial 1.

70 Section 6 Contacts Up to 500 entries can be stored in Contacts. Each entry can have up to five asso ciated phone numbers and two e-mail addresses. Each phone number can be up to 32 digits in length, including har d pauses, and associated names can be up to 22 characters in length.

92 Section 7 Send Picture Messages in Camera Mode Picture messages can be sent to recipients with compatible phones or devices. Y ou can even accompany a Picture messag e with a voice memo or prel oade d sound. Tip : Y ou can send a Picture message to up to ten recipients.
