Getting Started 5 Using the Batter y Note: This phone comes packaged with a partially charged rechargeable standard Li-Ion battery and wall charger. Y ou must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. A fully discharged battery requires up to 4 hours of charge time.
6 Installing the Batter y 1. Lift the battery cover from the top end of th e handset. 2. Insert the top end of the ba ttery into the phone housing using the directional arrow printe d on the battery . The gold contacts at the battery end must align with cont acts on the phone.

Entering T ext 43 Section 5: Entering T ext This section outlines how to sele ct the desired te xt input mode when entering characters into your phone. This section also describes how to use Word text entry system to reduce the amount of key st rokes associated with e ntering text.
