Troubleshooting _6 5 Exit misfeed 1. Remove any remaining pages from the ADF. 2. Seize the misfeed paper, and remove the paper from the document output tray by carefully pulling it to the right using both hands. 3. Load the removed pages back into the ADF.
66 _ Troublesho oting In the manual tray When you print using the manual tray and the machine detects that there is either no paper or that the paper has been improperly loade d, follow the next steps to release the jammed pape r. 1. Check if the paper is stuck in the feedi ng area, and if so, pull it out gently and slowly.
Troubleshooting _6 7 2. Remove the jammed paper from the duplex unit. If the paper does not come out with the duplex un it, remove the paper from the bottom of the machine. If you cannot find the jammed paper , or if there is any resistance removing the paper, stop pu lling and go to step 3.
