Display Display Layout The display comprises three areas. Area Description First line Displays various icons (see page 12). Middle lines Display messages, instructions and any information that you enter (number to be dialled, for example). Last line Shows the functions currently assigned to the two soft keys.

If the caller can be identified, the caller’ s phone number (or name if stored in your phonebook) is displayed. If the caller cannot be identified, only the phone icon flashes. 1. If necessary , open the flip. Press the key or the Accept soft key to answer the incoming call.

Searching for a Number in the Phonebook Y ou can search for a number in the phonebook during a call. 1. Press the Options soft key . 2. Press the key to highlight the Phonebook option. 3. Press the OK soft key . The phonebook entries are listed. 4. Enter the name that you wish to find.

Using the Menus A menu structure is available to set the various options available on your phone. Y ou can select the menu options in two different ways. Using the Navigation Keys The navigation keys are used as follows. Key Purpose Moves to the next option on the same level as the one displayed.

Network Services These menu functions are network services. Please contact your service provider to check their availability and subscribe to them, if you so wish. Call Diverting Menu 7.1 This network service enables incoming calls to be rerouted to the number that you specify .
Call Barring Menu 7.2 The call barring network service allows you to restrict your calls. Call barring can be set up in the following ways. All Outgoing: calls cannot be made.
Change Barring Password: you can set and change the call barring password obtained from your service provider using this option. Y ou must enter the current password before you can specify a new one. Once you have entered a new password, you are asked to confirm it by entering it again.
Line Identification Menu 7.5 This menu option lets you view the following line identification settings. CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation) If this network function is active, the number of the person making the call is displayed on the phone of the person called.
