8 Activat ing Y our Phone When you subscribe to a cellular network, a plug-in SIM card loaded with your subscription details, such as your PIN and other optional services. Removing the Battery 1. If necessary , power-off the phone by holding down the key until the power-off image display s.
Section 1: Getting Started 9 Make sure the go ld contacts of th e card face into th e phone, then slid e the SIM card into the so cket. Removing the SIM Card T o remove the SIM card, slide it away from the handset.
10 Installing the Battery 1. Align the battery so that the 3 brass tabs on the end alig n with the 3 bras s prongs at the bo ttom of the battery compa rtment. 2. Press the batter y down until it clicks into place. 3. Place the batter y cover on and sl ide it into place until it clicks.

46 Using Contacts L ist Dialing a Number fr om Contacts List Once you have stored phone numbers in the Contacts List, you can dial them easily and quickly by using the location numbers that were assigned to them in the Contacts List.
