6 GB Remote handset battery replacement 1. Relea se battery holder locker by pressing the holder up. 2. Pull out the battery holder. 3. Repla ce supplied battery (CR2025 or equivalent) ensuring that positive side of battery fa ces you with holder positioned.
7 Time setting 1. Turn on the radio by pressing standby button. 2. Press a nd relea se MODE button, display will flash 0:00. 3. Press a nd relea se Time Set button , display hour digit will fla sh. 4. Press T uning +/- button to select required hour then press T ime Set button again to confirm hour setting.
8 GB Alarm time setting 1. Press Mode button will cycle through Normal display , clock display , alarm on display , Alarm off display , Alarm source, Alarm volume, Sleep a nd normal display again. 2. During Alarm on display status, press Ti me Set button , display hour digit will fla sh.
9 Alarm off time setting Follow above alarm on time setting to set alarm of f time. Alarm Source 1. Pressing Mode button to select Alarm Source mode. 2. Press Adj. button, display will fla sh last alarm source set. 3. Press T uning + /- button to select required alarm source.

13 Selecting a station – DAB 1. The top line of the display shows the na me of the station currently selected. 2. Press the T uning + or T uning – button to scroll through the list of available stations. Stop pressing the T uning buttons when you find the station you wish to hear .

17 Station order – Service list order 1. In Station order mode, the user will be presented with a menu. The top line will contain currently sele cted service list order . The bottom line will contain the selected service mode with scrolling indicators.
18 GB Ma nual T uning 1. In the Manual Tuning mode, press OK then tuning +/- button to scroll through the band III options: 5A 174.92 MHz 5B 176.64 MHz 13E 237.48 MHz 13F 239.20 MHz 5A 174.92 MHz. 2. Press OK button to select the stations. 3. The first line to indicate signal strength.
19 DRC V alue Control 1. In DRC value mode, the user will be presented with a menu. The top line will contain the currently sele cted DRC value. 20 GB Factory RESET If your radio fails to operate correctly or some digits on the display are missing or incomplete carry out. Carry out following procedures. 1. Press and rele a se SETUP button then tuning +/- button to scroll through the options until Fa ctory reset shown on the display .
21 Operating the radio – FM band 1. Fully extend the telescopic aerial. 2. Press Standby button to switch on the radio. 3. Press the Band button to select the FM band. 4. Press a nd relea se Tuning control +/- button to tune to required stations. Display will show ST when a stereo station is tuned.
22 GB Display modes – FM RDS Y our radio ha s four display mode in FM ba nd: The Radio Data System (R DS) is a system in which inaudible digital information is tra nsmitted in addition to the normal FM ra dio progra m. RDS offers several useful features.
23 Search R DS program type Press Auto T une/RDS PTY to cycle through progra m type e.g. Pop, Cla ssic, News, etc. and then press T uning +/- button to search up/ down the frequency, the search processing will stop once the station meet dema nding progra m type.
24 GB Operating the radio – MW band 1. Press the Standby button to switch on the radio. 2. Press the ba nd button to select MW band. 3. Press a nd relea se Tuning Control +/- button to tune to required stations. Long press T uning Control +/- button for more than 0.
DAB band Preset station 1. Press Standby button to switch on the radio, then press DAB button to tune required station as previously described. 2. Press and hold down the required Pre set button (1-10) until display show e.g. “Preset 1 saved“. The station will be stored under the chosen preset station.
Recalling DAB preset station 1. Press the Sta ndby button to switch on the radio. Press DAB button to select DAB waveband. 2. Momentarily press the required Preset button, your radio will tune to the station stored in preset memory . 26 GB DDR-22_381P101_GB.

28 Preset EQ Press the EQ button to cycle through the preset equalizer mode of Flat Jazz Rock Cla ssic Pop Flat … The initial setting of the equalizer mode is Flat.
29 Operating the radio – Aux In 1. Connect a stereo or mono audio source (like CD walkman, MP3 player) to Aux In socket on the rear side of the ra dio.
30 Headphone use Headphone use with this radio should be f itted with a 3.5 mm ja ck plug. Insert the headphone s into the socket marked on the rear side of the radio. When the headphone s are plugged in, the loudspea ker is automatically disconnected.
