6 Pre-operation preparation After turning on th e pow er , the message " INITIALIZING " is displa yed. Ne xt, the liv e videos are displa yed o n a quad-s creen. 10 Monitoring the camera videos Example: D ispla ying camera 2 on single -screen 1 Press "2" on the came ra select ion butt on. The vide o of came ra 2 is displa yed o n single -screen. Displa ys the 4 camer as video connect ed at once . 1 Press the QU AD b utton.
11 Operating the PTZ camera If a PTZ ca mera is connected to the RS4 22/485 terminal , P an/Tilt, Z oom/F ocus oper ations are a vaila ble fr om this unit . Connec t the RS422/4 85 terminal and the came ra usin g a twisted pa ir cab le. 1 Press the ME NU button (th e MAIN MENU is displa yed) and select SYSTEM using the contr ol button ( }~ ).
12 Recor ding This uni t allo ws the f ollowing recording modes . Select the recording m ode, re cording re solution, frame r ate and vide o quality from " RECORD " under the MAIN MENU . (P27) The sym bol on the rig ht side of ea ch recordi ng mode (Ex: R) is disp la yed while recor ding is in pr ogress .
Recording 13 1 Recor ding starts automa tically when this unit is turned on. " C " is di spl ay ed on th e scr een. Th e conn ect ed cam eras are si multan eousl y recor ded. The record ing mode can be c hanged usin g RECORDING under RECORD settings.

Prior to perf or ming n etwork oper ations m ake the fol lowing prepar ations. • Netw ork conne ction: Connect th is unit a nd the PC using a LAN or Internet connect i on.
