A utomatic Operation This unit automatically s witches betw een cooling operation a nd heating operatio n according to the diff erence between the r oom temperatur e and the temperat ure setting. Check th at the circuit break er on the pow er panel is turned on.

20 Using the 1-Hour OFF Timer Tips f or Energ y Sa ving 1. 1-Hour OFF Timer This function causes the unit to operat e for one hour and then st op, regard less of whether the unit is on or off when this b utton is pressed. The indicator in the displa y indicates that this function is ope rating.
21 Adjusting the Airflo w Direction 1. Horizontal The horizontal airflo w can be adjusted by mo ving the ve r t ical v anes with your hands to the left or right. When the humidity is high, the vertical va nes should be in the front position during the cooling or dehumidifying operation.

How to remove the anti-mold filter 1. Grasp both ends of the air intake grille, and remo ve it by ope ning tow ards the front and pulling t owards you.
24 Care and Cleaning (continued) Air Clean Filt er The air clean filt er remov es dust and dir t from the air , and reduces odors and smoke from tobacco. This air c lean filter cannot remove harmful gases or vapor s nor ventilate air in the r oom. Y ou m ust open doors or windo ws frequently wh en you use gas or oil heati ng appliances.
