8 Camera Settings (CAMERA) Adjusts vertical sync hronization signal f or the camera. • I nternal synchronization (INT) • Po wer source sy nchronization (L-L) Sets lens aper ture according to the l um inance lev el of the target object. • Auto iris (A UTO) • M anual iris (MANU) Sets the white balance according to the shooting conditions.
Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 9 Sets the AG C (Auto Gain Control) le vel in f our grades . • O N (f our grades) •O F F Sets the gamma correction lev el to adjust the contrast or brightness lev el in f our grades. Switches automatically between color mode and b lack and white mode depending on the luminance of the object being monitored.
Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 10 The camera allows y ou to choose the synchronization signal adjustment met hod from the following options. • I nternal synchronization (INT) <Initial setting> Uses inter nal signal in the ca mera to adjust sync hronization.

Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 13 b One-push aut omati c white ba lance (A WC) In one-push automatic whit e balance setting, adjust white balance for a fix ed sur veillance location b y orienting the lens tow ard the white target object (ex. white wall or paper) .
Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 14 Sets the backlight compensation function to get clearer image in backlight condition. The f ollowing metering methods are a vailable f or the bac klight compensation function.
Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 15 4 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect a zo ne to be weighted a nd use the le ver ( vw ) to adjust weighting. Selecting a zone to be weighted shows the corresponding zone on the screen. Av ailable settings: 0 - 7 (The larger the number , the higher the weighting.
Camera Setting s (CAMERA) 16 Sets the appropriate shutter speed according to your sur v eillance purpos e. The follo wing shutter speed m odes are availab le. • Fast shutter speed (S HOR T) • S low shutter speed (LONG) If you do not use t he electronic shutter , set [SHUTTER] to “OFF”.

The amount of compensation can be adjusted for the hor izontal or vertical directions. 1 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect [APER TURE], use t he leve r ( vw ) to select “ON y ”, and press the [ENTER] butto n.

This fu nction lets you set the filmin g mode to colo r mode during times of no rmal brightness like dayti me or to black and whi te mode duri ng time s of darkne s s li ke night.

If the camera is c onnected to peripheral de vices lik e frame s witcher , burst ma y occur whe n the viewing mode is switched between the color mode and the b lack and white mode .

22 Lens Settings (LENS) Y ou can select the focusing mode from the foll owing opt ions. • Auto f oc us (A UTO) • M anual f ocus (MANU) For z ooming operations, y ou can set the zooming speed and electronic zooming options. Y ou can select the focusing mode from the f ollowing two opt ions.

P an and Tilt Settings (P AN/TIL T) 31 The pr oportional functi on allows y ou to make the amou nt of movement in the screen constant by changing pan/tilt operation speed during manual operation according to th e zoom magnif ication pow er .
P an and Tilt Settings (P AN/TIL T) 32 When the ti lting limit angle is not explicitly specified, the limit of tilting is -5 degrees to horizontal 0 degrees. If necessary , you can select the tilting limit angle using the fol lowing procedure. By setting the limit angle, the camera cannot be oriented to the direc tion be yond t he limit ang le.
33 A u to Mode Settings (A UT O MODE) The Auto mode can be used to operate the camera au tomatically to monitor multiple sur veillance locations. There are four types of automatic panni ng avai lable in A uto mode: Sequence mod e (SEQ UENCE), T our mode (TOUR), A uto P an mode (A UT O P AN) and A uto Return (A UTO RETURN).
A uto Mode Settin gs (A U T O MO DE) 34 The Sequen ce mode allows you to monito r mult iple preset position s sequentia lly by usin g the sequen ce group contai ning preset positions. Y ou can create up to four sequence groups. 1 Create a sequence gr oup by ad ding preset positions.
A uto Mode Settin gs (A U T O MO DE) 35 The A uto Pan m ode allows yo u to pan between t wo surveillanc e locati ons in loop. In this mo de , y ou set a start point, an end point, movi ng speed, panni ng directi on and other options . Y ou can crea te up to f our Auto P an groups.
A uto Mode Settin gs (A U T O MO DE) 36 Y ou can repeat a monitoring pr o cess by record i ng an image track of all camera pan, tilt and zoom operations.
A uto Mode Settin gs (A U T O MO DE) 37 Y ou can automatically return the surveillance status to the specified surveillance m ode, including the Auto mode and move to preset position, after the specified duration has passed without a n y operations.
38 Alarm Settings (ALA RM) This section describes the alarm input/output setting for the camera. The ALARM IN screen allows you to perf orm the alarm settings (input preferences, alar m action, etc.) f or each alarm input number. The ALARM OUT screen allows you to perform t he alarm output settings for each alarm output number .
Alarm Settings (ALARM) 39 The ALARM I N screen allows you to perform the alarm setting s (input p references, alarm action, etc.) for each al arm input numb er . 1 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect [ALARM IN], use t he leve r ( vw ) to select an alarm i nput number (1 - 8), and press the [ENTER] button.
Alarm Settings (ALARM) 40 8 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect [DURA TION] and use the lever ( vw ) to select th e interval after which the next ala rm becomes in effect. When an alar m is detected, another alarm signal will not be output until the duration specified in this s etting has passed.
Alarm Settings (ALARM) 41 The Alar m Disable func tion allows the al arm input to b e ign ored for the specif ied duration during man ual pan/til t/zoom operati ons and after man ual operation. Memo: Y ou can also tur n on or off t he ALA RM DISABLE function by using the s ystem controller .
Alarm Settings (ALARM) 42 3 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect [POSIT ION] – “SET y ”, and press the [EN TER] button. The AREA screen for setting sur veil l ance area appears. In this screen, while panning or tilting t he cam era, set t he sur v eillance area to detect movement.
Alarm Settings (ALARM) 43 Set the alarm output options f or the alarm detection in the sur v eillance area (ARE A 1 - 4). After returning to the MOTION ZONE screen, perform the f ollowing procedure. 1 Use t he joyst ick lever ( xy ) to s elect [ALARM OUT] and use the lever ( vw ) to select a n alarm output terminal.
44 Priv acy Mask Setti ngs (PRIV A CY MASK) Depending on the target object, a cert ain part of the surveillance image may need to be protected for privacy . Y ou can use the privac y mask (gray) to co ver such part for privac y . Up to 24 pri v acy m asks can be set.
