OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT APPLYING SILICONE LUBRICANT To reduce the friction of the walking belt and minimize wear, a non- oil-, non-petroleum-base silicone lubricant must be applied to the .walking platform before the treadmill is used. Failure to apply lubri- cant will reduce treadmill performance.
DIAGRAM OF THE CONSOLE The heart of the treadmill is the state-of-the-art programmable console. The console offers both manual and pro- gram operation, and features an array of independent LCD displays to give you continuous exercise feedback. Each program is divided into eight equal time periods, called segments. The speed of the walking belt will change automatically at the beginning of each segment.
