About this document This manual is intended for administrators and users of the AXIS Q1765–LE PT Mount Network Camera, and is applicable to rmware 5.55 and later . It includes instructions for using and managing the product on your network. Previous experience of networking will be of use when using this product.
The power supply used with this product shall fulll the requirements for Safety Extra Low V oltage (SELV) and Limited Power Source (LPS) according to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1. Photobiological Safety This product fullls the requirements for photobiological safety according to IEC/EN 6247 1 (risk group 1).

AXIS Q1765–LE PT Mount Network Camera Access the Product The default administrator user name root is permanent and cannot be deleted. If the password for root is lost, the product must be reset to the factory default settings. See Reset to Factory Default Settings on page 47 .

The Snapshot button takes a snapshot of the video image. The location where the image is saved can be specied in the AMC Control P anel.

AXIS Q1765–LE PT Mount Network Camera Set Up the Product Set Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. To open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.

AXIS Q1765–LE PT Mount Network Camera Video H.264 H.264, also known as MPEG-4 P art 1 0/A VC, is a video compression standard that provides high quality video streams at low bit rates. An H.264 video stream consists of different types of frames such as I-frames and P-frames.

Capture Mode The capture mode setting reduces image icker in uorescent light environments as image data is sampled at a rate that matches the local power line frequency .

Shock detection is used, for example, to generate an alarm if the product is hit by an object. AXIS Q1765–LE PT Mount Network Camera Events Events The Event pages allow you to congure the Axis product to perform actions when different events occur . For example, the product can start a recording or send an email notication when motion is detected.
