L A N setting s The LA N tab gi ves you the opportunity to change the IP setti ngs of th e WL - 326. Click <Ap ply> at the b ottom of this screen to save any cha nges. IP address 192 .168. 0.1. It i s t he router ’ s LAN IP address (Y our LAN cl ients default gateway IP address) .
Lease Time Forever . In the Lease Tim e sett ing y ou can specif y the tim e period that the DHCP le nds an IP address to your LA N cli ents. The DHCP wil l c hange your LAN cli ent’s IP address when thi s tim e threshol d perio d is rea ched.

Internet St atus This page displ ays whether the WAN port is c onnecte d t o a Cable/DSL o r 3G connecti on. It also dis plays th e router’s WAN IP address, S ubnet Mask, and ISP Gateway a s w ell as M AC address, th e Prima ry DNS. Press Renew button to renew your WAN IP address.

11 Wireless Set tings Y ou can set parameters that are used for th e wirel ess stations t o connect to t his router . The parameters include Mode, E SSID, Channel N umber and Associated Client. Wireles s Function Enable or Disa ble W irele ss functi on here.
Basic Settings Mode Allow s you to set the AP to AP , Stat ion, B ridge or WDS mode . Band Allow s you to set the AP f ixed at 802.1 1b or 802.11g mode. Y o u ca n al so select B+G mode to allo w 80211b and 802. 11g cl ients at the same time. SSID Thi s i s the name of the w irel ess si gna l wh ich is broadcasted.
A d vanced Settings This tab allo ws you to set the advanced wi reless opti ons. The optio ns incl uded are Authe ntication T ype, Fragment Thresho ld, R TS Threshold, Beacon Interval, and Preamble T ype. Y ou shou ld not change these para meters unle ss you k now what effect the cha nges wi ll have on the router .
Beacon Interval is the i nterv al of time that thi s w ireless router broadcasts a beacon. A B eacon i s use d to sync hronize the wi rele ss network. Data R ate The “Data Rate” i s the ra te that this acces s point uses to transmit data packets.
Security This Access Point provi des com plete w ire less LAN sec urity funct ions, inc luded are WEP , I EEE 8 02. 11x, IEEE 8 02.11x w ith WEP , WP A w it h pre-shared key and WP A with RADI US. With th ese security funct io ns, you ca n prevent your w irel ess LAN from i lle gal access .
WEP When you sel ect 64-b it or 12 8-bit WEP key , you have to enter WEP keys to encrypt data. Y ou can gen er ate the key by yourself an d enter it. Y ou can enter four W EP keys an d sel ect one o f them as a d efault k ey . T hen the router can receive any packets e ncrypted by on e of t he four keys.
WP A Pre-shared Ke y Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) is an advanced security sta ndard. Y o u can use a pre-shared key to authe nticate w irel ess statio ns and encrypt data d uring communicati on. It uses TKIP or CCMP (AES) to change the encrypt ion key frequentl y .

Denial of Service (DoS) The Broadband router's firewall can block common hacker attacks, incl uding Denial of Servic e, Pi ng of D eath, Port Scan an d Sync Fl ood.
