11 3. Software Installation The PSAdmin is a proprietary Windows-based ma nagement program t hat can assist you in configurin g and managing you r print s erver in Net Ware envir onments. The program can be installe d from the setup CD of print server.
12 3. Choose Setup Wizard to install the print server and con figure the conne cted printer. Note: The setup CD will install the pri nt server’s driver , PSAdmin an d Setup Wizard into your computer . The default insta llation director y will be C:Program filesNetwork Print Monitor .

24 Properties –TCP/IP Options The TCP/IP options allow you to modif y the print server’s TCP/ IP settings. Each opt ion is detailed a s follows. Obtain an I P addr ess from a DHCP serve r: This option enables or disab les the DHCP feat ure of t he print ser ver.
25 Upgrade Upgrade allows the user to upgrade th e print server device. In o rder to up grade the unit please perform th e st eps as follows: 1. Click Upgrade button just like a picture , as shown as follow picture 2. S elect General Upgrade .

37 General Settings: Print Server Name: Th is option a llows you to view print server’ s name woul d be configured by PSAdmin utility. Polling Time : This option allow s you to view polling time from the print server. This function is search for NetWare Serve r by per time .

46 Installation Procedure 1. At your file serve r cons ole, type “ load install ”. 2. Select “ NCF files options ”. 3. Select “ Edit AUTO EXEC.NCF fil e ”. 4. Add or Modif y the “ S ET BINDERY CONTEXT = ” line to includ e the NDS organization ( O) and all organizat ion unit (OU) objects wher e users are located.

51 6. Network Print Monitor Preparation The print server supports TCP/IP , IPX/SPX and Net BEUI protocols under Window s 95/98/Me. Plea se make sure that the following steps have be en completed befor e proceeding with in sta llat io n under Windows PC.
52 TCP/IP Protocol Installation 1. Click Start , point to Settings and sel ect Control Panel . 2. Double click the Network icon. 3. If the TCP/IP Protocol is not already installed, click Add . 4. Select Protocol and click Add . 5. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers li st.
