Its purpose, aside from rec omm ending standard oper ating procedures and routine s ervice requirem ents, is to prom ote SAFETY through the use of accepted operating practices.
6 MACHINE MOTION CONTROL - Single lever, multi- directiona l & continuously varia ble, controls direction of motion & spee d of motion. Forward displacement of control produces forward motion. Rearward displacemen t of control produces rearward mo tion.

9 Section 2 - OPERA T ING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE- START CHECK L IST Make the f ollowing checks and perform the service requir ed before eac h start-up. 2.1.1. Check tires and add or releas e air as needed to bring press ure in drive tires to: 12 psi (T urf Type Tires ), 5 ps i (All Terr ain Type Tires) and 25 psi in rear cas ter tires.

Rotate k ey counter clock wise to the preheat position (G L letter designation on switch) to allow the glow lamp to heat up.

15 Section 3 - MA INTENA NCE 3.2.3. CHECK MOW ER DRIVE BELT 1. Drive Belt Cov er Removal a. Lower deck to lowest s etting. b. Remove knobs that secur e the deck cover. See Figure 3.3. c.
