15 Locking the controls (HOLD) Y ou can lock the controls on your CD player to prevent accidental b utton presses. Slide HOLD in the direction of the arrow. 18 Connecting a stereo system About Joint T ext (CD text copying function) The Joint T ext function allo ws you to copy the disc and track names that are on a CD containing CD text information. By connecting a Sony MD W alkman (MZ- R909), which supports Joint T ext, to this CD player , you can copy the CD text onto an MD during recording.
