15 Getting Started Y ou can select the language for the setup display , the Control Menu display or the messages displayed on the screen. The default setting is “ENGLISH.” 1 When the player is in stop mode, press DISPLA Y and select “SETUP” using M / m .
16 Getting Started Operation Sound Ef fects (Sound Feedback) The player beeps when the following operations are performed. The default setting of the Sound Feedback function is set to off.

21 Playing Discs Some DVDs have a title menu or a DVD menu that is provided with DVDs only . Using the title menu A DVD is divided into long sections of a picture or a music feature called “titles.” When you play a DVD which contains several titles, you can select the title you want using the title menu.
