6 Getting started Getting starte d Assembly Before you start using your phone, you need to insert a SIM card and the battery. To insert th e SIM card 1 Unlock the bat tery cover. 2 Remove the battery cov er. 3 Slide the SIM c ard into its holder with the golden contacts facing down.

20 Getting started Components The basic building units of Chinese characters a re comp onents that are made up of strokes. After entering the first two strokes of the desired character, the component and character cand idates that started with that str oke are displ ayed in the candidat e ro w.
