Getting Started 13 Setting up your speakers for Dolby Pro Logic (MHC-DP1000D only) Dolby Pro Logic Surround improves the sound image by using four separate channels. These channels manipulate the sound to be heard and enhance the action on the screen.

32 Changing the sound If a DVD is recorded with multilingual tracks, you can select the language you want while playing the DVD. If the DVD is recorded in multiple audio formats (PCM, Dolby Digital, MPEG audio, or DTS), you can select the audio format you want while playing the DVD.
