8 DVD Recorder Basi cs DVD Recorder Basics “What can I expect f rom DVD recording? ” is a natural questio n for a nyone new to t he experi ence. This sec tion expl ains the b asic steps i nvolved wi th DVD recordi ng. There are other differences besides just being rewritable/non-re writable.
9 DVD Recorder Basics Step 3: Digital Recording Record a programme. When using the timer , you’ll f ind familiar , con venient features as found on con ventional VCRs, such as Sho wV iew/VIDEO Plus+ and PDC/VPS. Y ou can also dub and edit the contents of connected video equipment such as a digital video camera.

Check that the remai n ing disc spac e is larg e enough for the recordi n g. You cannot free up disc space on a DVD-R. Erasing a title will only hide t he titl e n ame in the Ti tle List m enu .
