The headlights and tai llights will blink for about 30 seconds. Also, the horn will sound intermittently for about 30 sec- onds at the same time.

To adjust the mirror, set the selector tab (1) to the day position, then move the mirror up, down or sid eways by hand to obtain the best view.

The passenger’s side mi rror is a convex (curved surface) mirror. Objects seen in this mirror will look small er and appear far- ther away than when seen in a flat mirror.

It also may lock if you pull the belt ac ross your body very quickly.

These conditions are not harmful and do not indicate a fire in the car. Be aware, however, that some air bag components may be hot for a while after inflation.

When the system detects a malfunction, this light will flash for appro ximately one minute and then remain co ntinuously illu- minated.

The light also come s on under the fol low- ing conditions: 1) when the p arking brake is engaged, and 2) when the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir fall s below the speci- fied level.

4-8 INSTRUMENT PANE L 66J21-03E “AIR BAG” Light 63J030 This light monitors inflators, crash sen sors, seat belt pretensioners, the fron t passen- ger sensing system, and corresponding electrical circuits. This light blinks for several seconds when the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position so you can check if the light is working.
4-9 I NSTRUMENT P ANEL 66J21-03E Low Fuel Warning Light 54G343 If this light comes on, fill the fuel tank immediately. NOTE: The activation point of this light varies depending on road conditions (for exam- ple, slope or curve ) and driving cond itions because of fuel moving in the tank.

When you turn on the haza rd warning switch, both arrows will flash along with all of the turn signal ligh ts.

The display shows thre e types of indica- tion; odometer, trip meter A and trip meter B. Push the selector knob (3) quickly to switch the indication among the three.

To he lp maintain opti- mum performance and durability of your air conditioner, it needs to be ru n periodically.
