5 Your Washing Machine’s Control Panel • This key is used for starting a program or for pausing a program that is running. • Once a selected program has been sta rted, the symbol lights up on the display. When it is paused, the symbol lights up on t he display.
6 FUNCTION BUTTONS Rinse Hold 9 This function is recommend ed fo r use when you can’t take your clothes out of your washing machine immediately after the program has fini shed. This funct ion prevents wrinkles f rom forming. Pressing this button will keep the last rinsing water from draining.
7 Adjusting wash water temperature 9 You can Adjust the Wash Water temperature a ccording to the program you have select ed using this function. *NOTE: You cannnot set the wa sh water temperature to one higher th an the temp erature of the program you have selected.
8 Adjusting the spin speed 9 You can adjust the spin speed for a wash cycle. Always be sure to select a lower spin speed for your delicate garments To adjust the spin speed : Use the MODE KEY to move to the symbol on the display. 9 The maximum spin speed of the wash program that you have selected will now be shown on the display.
9 Selecting an Additional Function You can use the ADDITIONAL FUNCTION S specified in Table-1 (pages 18-19), depending on the ty pe of program that you’ re using for your laundry. To activate the ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS : Press the MODE KEY until the ADDITIONAL FUNCTION you want lights up on the display.
10 To Change the Program: If you have selected a program you do not want : Press the ‘START/PAUSE’ key. 9 The SYMBOL will light up on the display. • Turn the Program Knob to the ‘0’ position (closed).
11 Setting a Program to Begin at a Certain Time To set the program start time: Use the Mode Key to move to the symbol on the display panel You can set the prog ram start time by pressing the SELECT KEY. Each press increases the intervals by one hour. The symbol will remain lit until the progra m has completed.
12 __________________________________________________________ When the Program Finishes: Your mach ine will stop itself when the program you have selected finishes a nd the ‘END’ signal appears on the display. Â Turn the Program Knob to the ‘0’ position.
13 Washing your laundry The first thing you need to do once you have installed (*see pp. 32-34) your washing machine is make sure that you have removed the transportation bolts . This is crucial as you will seriously damage your Washing Machine if you do not do this.

15 Loading your Washing Machine Open the door of your washing machine . Load your clothes insid e the drum one item at a time and spread them about well. When you shut the door of your machine, be careful that no pieces of clothi ng are jammed between the door and the gasket seal.
16 *NOTE: Only use detergents for au tomatic washing machines. The amount that you will need fo r different washing loads and types will be written on the pa ckaging of your deterge nt . The harder the water in your area, the more detergent you will need to use.
17 Running your Washing Machine Program Selection and Features . Select the program that’s right for t he clothes you want to wash according to Table-1 (the Table on the nex t page). THE PROGRAM KNOB With the program knob, you can se lect the program you’d like to wash your clothes with.

21 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING: Please note: Before attempting any kind of maintenance or cleaning on your washing machine: 9 Unplug your machine 9 Close the Water Tap .
22 9 Remove the kick-plate by push ing it upwards with your hands away from the lower securing claw s and pulling it towards yourself. 9 Before opening the filter cover, pl ace a cup in front of the filter cover to prevent flow of the re maining water in the m achine.
23 Cleaning the Detergent Drawer Detergents may form sediment i n your detergent drawer or in the housing of the detergent drawer over time. • To clean the sediment, pull out the detergent drawer from time to time. To pull out the detergent drawer : • Pull the detergent drawer to the end.
24 Cleaning the Cabinet 9 Clean the exterior surface of yo ur machine with lukewarm water and a cleaning substance that will not harm or scratch the cabinet.

27 TROUBLESHOOTING – Should your washing machine have a problem, checking the problem against this chart may keep you from needing to call for service! PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT YOU CAN DO It is unplugged Insert the plug into the socket. Your fuse is defective.
28 PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT YOU CAN DO You haven’t put enough clothes in the drum You Washing machine’s operation is unaffected. You have put too many clothes in the drum Don’t put too many clothes in the machine. Spread your clothes more evenly.
29 PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT YOU CAN DO The Water drains from your Washing Machine as soon as it has filled. The end of the water drain hose is in too low a position for the machine. Place the water drain hose at a better height. No water seen in the drum during the washing cycle.
30 ERROR CODES- your washing machine may develop a fault and display an ERROR CODE. There are 8 codes: Error Code Failure Indicator Probable Failure What Needs Doing The ‘START/ PAUSE’ light blinks The door is not shut properly. Shut the door properly so that it ‘clicks’.
31 Error Code Failure Indicator Probable Failure What Needs Doing The START/ PAUSE light & PROGRAM END lights are blinking. The Heater in your machine or the heat sensor has failed. Shut down your machine and unplug. Turn off your tap and report it to the nearest authorized service centre.

33 1) FIRSTLY, LOOSEN THE PLASTIC ADJUST MENT NUT. 2) AFTER YOU’VE REACHED THE LEVEL Y OU WANT, TIGHTEN THE PLASTIC ADJUSTMENT NUTS AGAIN BY R OTATING THEM UPWARDS ( ONE FOR EACH FOOT). 3) NEVER PUT CARTONS, WOODE N BLOCKS OR SIMILAR MAT ERIALS UNDER THE MACHINE TO HELP MAKE IT LEVEL TO THE GROUND.
