After you pres s th e fourth digit of the code, the red light on the end of the remote control should flash.

Unfortunately, due to the gr eat variety of TVs and A/V st ereo systems, some makes and models are not compatible with your Recorder ’s remote control.
37 Managing Multiple Recorders and Remotes 4 Managing Multiple Recorders and Remotes If you have more than one Recorder in your home, or if you have another model of TiVo DVR in addition to your Pioneer DVD Record er with TiVo, you can match a particular Recorder with a particular remote so that each Recorder will only respond to its own remote.

41 Troubleshooting 5 Troubleshooting Why does the Recorder have to be connected to a phone line? • The Recorder needs to be connected to a phone line or to broadband Internet access to make its regular connection to the TiVo service.
42 Chapter 5 Troubleshooting What if I need to us e the phone while the Re corder is connecting to th e TiVo service? • It’s unlikely that you ’ll notice the Recorder’s phone call s, becaus e its connection to the Ti Vo service typically lasts only a bout 10 minutes and will occur during evening hours.
43 Troubleshooting 5 My Recorder remote control doesn’t control my TV’s power, volume, etc. • You must first program the Recorder ’s remote control to turn your TV on and off and control its volume and mute functi ons. You can also program it to control vol ume and mute on an A/V receiver or stereo.
44 Chapter 5 Troubleshooting I accidentally changed channels wi th my TV or VCR’s remote control. • If you use your TV’s or VCR’s remote to change the channel, th e TV will no longer display the video signal from th e Recorder. To return to viewing vi deo from the Recorder, return to the channel that your TV or VCR was tuned to.

Als u nog geen TiVo series 2 heb gekocht dan nu is een goed moment om kennis te maken met de basisgegevens van het product. Eerst kijk dan naar de eerste pagina\'s van de handleiding, die je hierboven vindt. Je moet daar de belangrijkste technische gegevens TiVo series 2 vinden. Op dit manier kan je controleren of het apparaat aan jouw behoeften voldoet. Op de volgende pagina's van de handleiding TiVo series 2 leer je over alle kenmerken van het product en krijg je informatie over de werking. De informatie die je over TiVo series 2 krijgt, zal je zeker helpen om een besluit over de aankoop te nemen.
