7 UH-PRC00 1-EN Simple Hang er and Piping Connections The Model P uses weldnut type hanger connections, while the Model S uses a nutser t type hanger connection. Hanger rods screw easily into threaded anc hor points. Piping connections can be made equally as easy .
UH-PRC0 0 1-EN 8 Application Considerations General Rules In locating or spotting T rane Propeller Unit Heaters – either the Model S Horizontal or Model P P rojection Unit Heater – the following general rules should be considered. 1 . Spot units at points of greatest heat loss.
9 UH-PRC00 1-EN Application Considerations General Not es The following general notes on piping propeller unit heaters are presented based on competent engineering and installation practice: 1 . Suspend unit heater s securely with pro visions for easy removal.
UH-PRC0 0 1-EN 10 V apor or V acuum Syst em Lower supply and return mains are used. Piping should be similar to that used with overhead supply main if it is separately vented and trapped. Bot tom supply for steam mains may be used if steam is dry . Refer to Figure AC-4.
