The RTRM is configured from the factory wit h the Lead/ L ag control disabled. T o activate the Lead/Lag function, simply cut the wire connected to J3-8 at the RTRM.

It pro v ides high limit “shutdown ” of the unit and requir es a manual reset. The sensor is used to detect smoke due to fire in the ai r conditioning or ventilation ducts.
