5 Buttons and Navigation 1 Pressing a button will displa y additional information or a new men u screen. EXAMPLE: Y ou may access the Menu screen b y pressing the “Menu” button on the home screen. Y ou may access the Settings Men u by pressing the “Settings” button from the Men u screen.
6 System ON/OFF , Mode Selection 2 Mode Selection To the right of the Menu button are 3 Mode buttons: 1) The first sets System Mode (including OFF). 2) The second controls Fan Mode . 3) The third controls Air Cleaner Mode . Each button has mode options to choose from.
7 Set P oint P anel 3 3) Air Cleaner Mode Automatic means the air cleaner will run when the f an runs. Quic k Clean is a full power air cleaning cycle that increases the system f an speed setting (when not actively heating or cooling) to 100% f or three hours to achie ve maximum clean air deliv ery rate.
8 Manuall y Set up a Schedule 4 1) T urn Scheduling On (and select Manual Scheduling) 2) Enter the Schedule Menu 3) Select a day or time period By default the schedule sho ws the periods W ake, A wa y , Home and Sleep . Each day can ha ve its o wn schedule and each schedule will be a unique color .
9 4) Select the days y ou would like to schedule By selecting more than one day , you can set the schedule to be the same for those days . For e xample, you ma y keep the same hours each weekda y . Finished Examples: Example A: Example A is for someone who w orks and is out of the house during weekdays .
10 Using Photos 5 Notch at top Using an SD Card Inser t the SD Card at the bottom right hand side of the thermostat, taking care to keep the card’ s “notch” in the orientation shown. NO TE: The card must remain inser ted to view the photos and the SD card must remain “unlock ed.

Chec k the “Add to Slide- show” bo x to include the a photo in a slideshow . 1) If you do not y et hav e your SD card inserted or it is not inser ted all the wa y , you will see this message.

Set the w ait time until the screen sav er star ts . 2) The “Def ault Screen Saver” shows the cur- rent temperature as a floating icon ov er a darkened blac k screen. Select “Image Screen Saver” if you hav e inser ted an SD card and added photos to a slideshow .

14 1-T ouch Presets Set up these presets to make quic k temperature setpoint changes from the Home Screen. Security Protect your system from accidental or unw anted changes to your system b y using a PIN lock. Time & Date Set time, date and time z one.
15 Customize your Home Screen Add shor tcuts and customize the dashboard. Wireless Network Setup Set up a connection to your wireless netw or k to enable w eather and software update f eatures. See the f ollowing section f or setup details (802.11 B/G wireless router and inter net required).
16 Optional Wireless Netw orking 7 Enabling wireless netw or king brings addi- tional functionality to your thermostat. NO TE: On a nor mally configured network, f amiliar ity with a personal wireless network is helpful but not necessarily required for installation.
17 2) Enable the wire- less radio by pressing “Wire- less ON/OFF”. 3) After the wire- less radio is enabled, press the “Connect to a Network” button to choose from a list of av ailable wireless net- works. Enabling Wireless Networking 7.1 1) Enter the Wireless Network Setup Menu.
18 The signal strength is indicated in bars. The more bars, the better the signal strength. A minimum of three bars is required f or stable network operation. The network will op- erate with one or two bars , but ma y result in inter mittent or lost connections.
19 1A) If the network is unsecured (with an “open” padlock), the follo wing mes- sage will be dis- play ed. 2) Enter the network ke y (case-sensitive passw ord).
20 Advanced netw or king will be required in the f ollowing two instances: 1 . When connecting to a non-broadcast network 2 . When configuring a static IP address Adv anced Networking Inf ormation 7.4 Enter the Advanced Netw or k Setup Menu. IMPORT ANT : The Adv anced Network screens are intended f or individuals with networking f amiliar ity .
21 6) Enter the Network K ey using the on-screen ke ypad. 5) Press “Enter Netw ork Ke y” b utton. 2) Press the “Enter SSID Name” button. 1) The “Netw ork Secur ity” button in this Ad- vanced Netw ork Settings menu will be highlighted by def ault.
22 Host Settings 7.6 This screen is used to control how the thermostat obtains network addresses and is needed when DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) has been turned off or is not availab le on the router . Otherwise, you ma y use DHCP to automatically obtain this information.
23 Once a network has been joined, the thermostat will reconnect to it after signal or power interruptions. When connected, a green dot will be shown. T o disconnect from this network, enter the “Connect to a Netw or k” menu and select “Disconnect”.
24 Multi-System En vironments 7.9 1) In a multi-system environment each thermostat can see and control the others. NO TE: The ther mostats must hav e wireless enabled and be connected to the same personal wireless network. 2) Each thermostat belongs to an Access Control Group—set to “Group A” by default.
25 4) The Zone Menu is shown at right. 5) The Zone Over- view menu sho ws a quick vie w of each zone’ s cur- rent condition. 6) System and Zone Names may be set in the Zone Names screen. The “Rename System” and “Rename Zone” buttons al- low entering custom names from a ke ypad.
26 Wireless Registration 8 1A) In the Network Setup Screen, select the “Register Now” button to begin registration. Proceed to Step 2. 1B) If instead you try to connect to Weather before y ou hav e reg- istered, you will be prompted to register . 2) Read and accept the License Agreement to proceed with the Registration process.
27 5) Enter a valid email address, press “Ap- ply” to proceed. 8) Check y our email to find your 5-digit v eri- fication code. 7) After connecting to the server , an email will automatically be sent to your email address. 10) After entering your verification code, your additional f ea- tures will now be enabled.
