Audio Advantage Am igo Page 11 Checking Amigo after Installation Step 1: Connect Amigo Connecting Speakers or Headphones You can connect stereo headp hones or powered speakers to the Amigo Headphone- S/PDIF Output jack. If you connect powered spe akers, set the Speaker Configuration in th e Amigo Control Panel Speaker Ta b to “2 Speakers”.

To prevent feedback from the internal microphone being picked up by the external speakers, click on the Mixer tab and mute the microphone, or turn down the volume. If you’re using headphones with the sp eakers turned off, this won’t be an issue.
Audio Advantage Am igo Page 13 Troubleshooting Tips No sound on speakers or headphones Check that the speak ers are powered on. Be su re you’re not using passive speakers that require an amplifier. The A migo can only drive powered speakers, not passive s peakers.
www.Turtle-Beach.com Page 14 Check that the speak ers are connected properly. If you are using a mini to RCA adapter to connect the speak ers, try swapping the left and right RCA plugs to correct the problem.
Audio Advantage Am igo Page 15 Things You Can Do with Amigo Listening to Music CDs in Windows 2000/XP To listen to an audio CD from your PC’s CD ROM drive: 1. Insert the CD into the CD ROM Tray. Windows will prompt you whether or not you want to Rip the CD to your hard drive or play the CD with Media Pl ayer.

The Volume section le ts you set the master volume and pan for left and right speakers.
