GETTING ST ARTED [ 7 ] GETTING ST ARTED Charge the battery pack f or at least 15-20 hours befor e plugging the phone line into your phone . 1) Press in on th e battery cover release an d slid e the cover down un til it comes off.

[ 10 ] GETTING ST ARTED D. Choose the dialing mode Most ph one systems use ton e dialin g which sends D TMF tones thr ough the ph one lines . However some ph one system s still use pulse dialing su ch as in rural ar eas. The d efault setting is ton e dialin g.

The voice m ail service company will pr ovid e you with the access number . If you subscribe to voice m ail service , you can use your EXT1160/EXT1165 to access your voice m ailbox.
