13 USING YOUR ICE MACHINE 1. Allow your ice machine to run for at least 48 hours to accumulate ice in the ice bin. 2. The unit will cycle off between ice pr oduction and ice harvest cycles. 3. 15 PREP ARING THE ICE MACHINE FOR STORAGE If the ice machine is moved, not used for an extended period of time, or will be in a area below 45 o F (7.2 o C), it is necessary to remove the water fr om the ice making system.

This is normal operation. When the ice bin needs to be replenished, cubes will r etur n to regular size.
