7 Getting Started Connecting Power to Base Unit Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, and the connector into the bottom of the base unit. 41 Advanced Operations Handset Volume The volume control is on the right edge of the handset. During a call, press the + or keys to adjust the listening volume to a comfortable level. You can adjust the volume for the headset and speakerphone this way also.
42 Advanced Operations Mute Function During an active call pressing either the MUTE softkey on the handset or base (when in speakerphone mode), will disable the microphone. Press UNMUTE to return to normal two- way conversation. Hold Function From the handset: • Press the HOLD softkey to place a call on hold.
