ACCUSIMMER ® Fe a t u r e (on s ome models ) The ACCUSIMMER ® featu re setting is an adjust able heat set ting for more precise simmering.
8 Dual Cooking Zone (on s ome models ) The Dual Cooking Zone offers flexibility depending on the size of the cookwa re. S ingle s ize can be use d in the same wa y as a regular element. The du al size combin es both the singl e and outer element and i s recommended for lar ge r size cookware.
9 ■ For foods containing sugar in any form, cl ean up all spills and soils a s soon as p ossible. Allow the cooktop to c ool down slightl y . Then, while wearing ov e n mitts , remove the spills whil e the surfac e is still warm.

12 Off/ Canc el The OFF/CANCEL pad stops any fun ction except the Clock, Timer , Control Lock or W arm Drawer (on s ome mode ls). Clock On some m odels, this is a 12-hour cl ock that s hows a.m. an d p.m. To S e t : Before setting, make sure the oven and Timer ar e off.
13 Contro l Loc k The Control Loc k shuts down the control pane l pads to preven t unintended use of the oven. When the control is locked, only the CL OCK SET , OVEN LIGHT (on some models ) and TIM ER pads w ill functi on. T o Lock/Unlock Contr ol: Be fore locking, make sure the oven and Timer are off.
14 P ositioning Racks and Bakeware IMPORT AN T : D o not place food or bakeware directly on the oven door or bottom. Permanent da mage will occur to the por celain finish. RACK S NOTE S: ■ Position racks before turning the oven on. ■ Do not position r acks with ba kewar e on them.
15 Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendations and use t he bakeware size recommended in the recipe. Use the following ch art as a guide. 16 Styles 2 & 3 - Electronic Oven Cont r ols After ST ART is pressed, the oven will en ter a timed preheat condit ioning. “PrE” and the time c ountdown w ill appear on t he displa y (on so me mode ls). Wh en the prehe at co ndition ing t ime ends, a tone will sound and the sel ected temperatu re will appear on the display .

19 T imed Cooking (on s ome models ) Timed Cooking allows the oven to b e set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a se t length of time, and/or shu t off automatical ly . Delay start should not be us ed for food such as breads and cakes bec ause they may n ot bake properly .
20 T o Set a Del ayed Tim ed Cook: Before setting, make su re the clock is set to t he correct time of day . See “Clock” sect ion. 1. Press BAK E. 2. Set th e temperat ure (op tional). 3. Press the TEMP/TIME “up ” or “down” arrow pad to enter a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed.
21 T o Modify Sequ ence Programming: 1. Press DEL ETE STE P . The last step of the sequ ence will be can celed, and the step prior to the cance led sequence wil l show on the display for either review or modificat ion.
22 Prepare Cooktop and Storage Drawer: ■ Remove plast ic items from the cooktop be cause the y may melt. ■ Remove all items fr om the storage drawer . 25 Oven Doo r For normal range use, it is not suggested to remove the oven door . How ever , if removal is necessary , make sure the oven is off and cool. Then follow these ins tructions. The oven door is he avy . Before Removing : 1. Use a putty knif e or screwdriver and in sert it at th e bottom corner of th e door stop clip.
