7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls The control knobs can be set any wher e between HI and LO. Push in and turn to s etting. On some mode ls, the surface cooking area locator shows w hich element is tur ned on. Use the follow ing chart as a guide when setting heat leve ls.
8 Hot Surface Indicator Light (under ceramic glass) The hot surface indic ator light will glow as long as any su rf ace cooking area is too hot to touch , even aft er the surface cooking area(s) is tur ned of f.
