5 Recommen d e d installation spacing for ca b inet installation NOTE: Some models are not r ecommen ded for cabinet installation. ■ For cabinet installation, with a door , minimum ventilation openings in the top of the cabinet are r equired.
6 ■ T o supply the requir ed 3 or 4 wire, single phase, 120/240 volt, 60 Hz., AC only elec trical supply (or 3 or 4 wire, 120/208 volt e lectrical supply , if specified on the serial/rating p late) on a separate 30-amp circuit, fused on both sides of the lin e.
7 2. Remove the hol d-down scre w and terminal block cover . A. Neutral g round wire B. External ground conductor screw C. Center , silver -colored terminal block screw D.
8 ■ Put direct wire cable through the strain relief. Th e strain relief should have a tight fit with the dryer cabinet and be in a horizontal position.
9 3. Connect ground wir e (green or bare) of power supply cord to external ground conductor scr ew . Tighten screw . A. External ground conductor screw B. Ground wire (green or bare) of power supply cord C. ¾" (19 mm) UL listed strain relief D. Center , silver -colored terminal block screw E.
10 5. Tighten strain relief scr ew . 6. Insert tab of terminal block cover into slot of dryer rear panel. Secure cover with hold-down scr ew . 7. Y ou have completed your electrical connection.

12 Flexi b le metal vent ■ Flexible metal vents are acceptable only if accessible for cleaning. ■ Flexible metal vent must be fully exte nded and supported when the dryer is in its final location. ■ Remove excess flexible meta l vent to avoid sagging and kinking that may result in re duced airflow and poor performance.

14 2. Firmly grasp the body of the dryer (not the console panel). G ently lay the dryer on the cardboar d. See illustration. 3. Examine the leveling legs. Find the diamond marking . 4. Screw the legs into the leg holes by hand. Use a wren ch to finish turning the legs until the diamond marking is no longer visible.
15 LEVEL DRYER Check the levelness of the dryer . Ch eck levelness first side to side, then front to back. If the dryer is not level, prop up the dryer using a wood block. Use a wren ch to adjust the legs up or down and check a gain for levelnes s. COMPLETE INSTALLATION 1.
T ry th e following: Check to see if a household fuse has blown or circuit breaker has tripped. Electric dryers use two household fuses or breakers. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit br eaker . Confirm the power cord is pr operly installed. Refer to “Electrical Conn ection” for details.
