- 2 - Cube Network Camera Overview The compact Brickcom CB -100A/CB-500A series Cube ne twork series offers a high quality , video surveillance solution for residences and small b usinesses. Unlike a general webcam, this camera series is a standalone surveillance system that does not need to be connected to a computer.
- 3 - Pet Monitor – The motion detection feature c an be used to create forbidden areas in the home whi ch the pet should not enter when th e owner is away. If the camera records the pet entering the region, a recorded m essage can be programmed to play and the owner will be notified via ema il or MMS.

- 21 - 5. For configuring the IP address settings, select either <Settings remain the same> , <Automatically obtain an IP Address (DHCP)> or <Set IP Address configuration manually>. - 23 - EasyLink TM is a unique Brickcom function which allo ws users to assign a unique EasyLink name to their netw ork camera’ s IP address. There is no need to configure the router to op en up ports or remember hard- to -memorize IP addresses. W hen th is feature is enabled, users can log onto [uniqueEasyLink name].
- 24 - 7. W hen the IP address settings have been configured , the screen will either display a successful or failed connection message. The Administrator s hould co mplete the network settings on the config uration p age, inclu ding entering the correct subnet mask a nd IP address of gate way and DNS.
- 27 - Inst alling the Plug - In For the initial access to the came ra in W ind ows, the web browser may prompt the administrator fo r permission to install a new plug-in for on Interne t Explorer. Permission request depends on the Internet security settings of the use r ’s PC or notebook.

- 63 - HTTP Settings Select this option to send the media files via an HTTP notification when an e vent is trigg ered . URL – Specify the URL to send HTTP requests . T he URL is normally written a s: http://ip_address/ notification.cgi?parameter ip_address – type the IP address or host name of the HTTP host.
- 64 - Video Clip This function is use d to determine when v ide o clips w ill be recorded and stored after an ev ent is triggered. P re -alarm buffer - Images can be stored internally on th e server f rom the time immediately preceding the trigger. Enter the desired length of time.

- 66 - LED Light(*) Mode – Select “Keep active during event” or “ Keep a ctive for” a specific amount of tim e when an event is triggered. LED Control - The LED on the f ront of the ca mera can be set to flash at a configurable interval when an e vent is triggered.
- 67 - System System Log Log – Set up the camera to record a system log when an event is trigg ered. This page displays the system’s log in chronological order. The system log is stored in the camera’s buffer area and will be overwritten when the buffer area is full.
- 68 - Remote Logging The user can configure the camera to send the system log f ile to a remote server as a log backup. Click to enable remote log and enter the IP address of the remote server. E nt er the port number of the remote server. Click Apply to apply settings or Cancel to cancel changes.
