5 How to Select a DVD Disc There are many types of DVD discs but this camcorder uses only the followi ng three types of 8 cm mini DVD discs: DVD-R, DVD-R DL and DVD-R W . Read the differences between them and select the di sc that best fits your needs.
6 Adv antages of Using DVDs No need to worry about r ecording over a tape. When you use a DVD, the camcor der will automatically record o n the empty space of the disc. So you don't hav e to worry about mistakenly r ecording ov er a precious memory .
7 Available features depend on the DVD disc used 1 Only scen es in the playlist can be divided. 2 Disc finalizat ion is the processing of the free space (the unrecorded area) on the disc in order to mak e it playable on external DVD devices ( 48 ).
