With the camcorder on, hold h press ed down for mor e than 2 second s. Repeat thi s action to sw itch the LCD backlig ht bet ween off (norm al) an d on (bright).

In addition to the 10x optical zoom, in mod e, you can turn on the digital zoom (40x or 200x ) with the 7 8 [Digital Zoom] setting.
