4 Safety The safety aspects of our r efrigerator s/fr eezer s comply with accepted technical standar ds and the German Appliance Safety Law . Nevertheless, we consider it our obligation to make you awar e of the following safety information: Intended u se • The r efrigerator is intended for use in the home.
5 Daily Oper ation • Do not oper ate any electrical appliances in the refriger ator/fr eezer (e.g. electric ice cr eam makers, mixer s etc.). • Befor e cleaning the appliance, always switch it off and unplug it, or pull the house fuse or switch off the cir cuit br eaker .
6 • The symbol on the pr oduct or on its packaging indicates that this pr oduct may not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be handed over to the appr opriate collection point for the r ecycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
7 1 . Scr ew the top handle br acket to the handle rod (1). Fit the bottom handle br acket on the lower left- hand side of the door (2). 2. Fit the top handle br acket on the top left-hand side of the door (3) and scr ew the handle r od to the bottom handle br acket (4).
8 Electrical connection Befor e initial start-up, refer to the appliance r ating plate to ascertain if supply voltage and curr ent values correspond with those of the mains at the installation location. e.g.: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz or 230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (i.
9 T emper atur e setting buttons The temper ature is adjusted using the “B“ and “D“ buttons. These buttons ar e connected to the temper ature display .

11 "Open Door"- W arning If the fridge door is left open for longer than 5 minutes the r ed warning display will flash and an acoustic warning tone will sound. If you need mor e time to load or rearr ange r efriger ated foods, you can switch off the warning tone by pr essing the ALARM OFF button.
12 Interior Accessories Stor age shelves • Y ou should always slide one of the full size glass stor age shelf into the lowest set of guides, above the fruit and the vegetable container s, and keep it in this position.
13 Adjusting the upper door r ack Depending on the food stor ed, the upper door r acks can be changed to other holder s or removed. T ake out the food, pr ess the door r acks digonally upwar ds at their edges, reposition them, and pr ess them back into place.
14 Changing the carbon filter T o maintain the best performance the carbon filter should be chan- ged once a year with normal usage. New carbon filter s can be pur chased from your local dealer . 1. The filter is placed behind the grill and can be r eached by opening the cover .
15 Fr esh food r efrigeration T o obtain the best performance: • do not stor e warm food or evaporating liquid in the r efriger ator • do cover or wr ap the food, particularly if it has a str ong flavour . • P osition food so that air can cir culate fr eely r ound it.
16 Switching off the appliance 1. T o switch off, press the ON/OFF button. This will r esult in a countdown fr om "3" to "1" taking place in the temper ature display . On r eaching "1" the fridge will switch off. The temper atur e display will go off.
17 – cleanser s which contain acetic acid. Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts. • Do not use any abr asive cleansers. 1. Remove the food from the r efriger ator . 2. Switch the appliance off and r emove the plug fr om the mains, or switch off or turn out the cir cuit breaker or fuse.
18 The food is too warm. Interior lighting does not work. The appliance is near a heat source. Temper atur e is not pr operly adjusted. Please look in the "Initial Start Up" section. Light bulb is defective. Please look in the "Changing the Light Bulb" section.
19 Unusual noises. The appliance is touching the wall or other objects. Appliance is not level. A component, e.g. a pipe, on the rear of the appliance is touching another part of the appliance or the wall. The compressor starts after a period of time.

23 P ositioning This appliance should only be installed at a location wher e the ambient temper ature corr esponds to the climate classification indicated on the r ating plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.
24 Rehingeing the door The side at which the door opens can be changed fr om the right side (factory adjustment) to the left side, if the installation site r equir es. W arning! When changing the side at which the door opens, the appliance may not be connected to the mains.
25 9 . Unscrew the top handle br acket fr om the handle rod (1). Unscr ew the bottom handle br acket from the door (2). Unscr ew the top handle br acket from the door (3) and scr ew onto the bottom right- hand side of the door (4). T urn the handle bracket with the handle r od 180° and screw them to the door (5) and the fitted handle br acket (6).
