Specification of the RS232C/RS485/RS422 connector is standard for “DSUB9” The Maximum Length of cable is 45 ft w ith RS232C but RS485 or RS422 is about 300 ft.

6. How to Operate 33 6-1. General Information ▫ Y ou can operate all functions of the system by use of buttons located on the fron t panel, remote controller and a mouse. Additionally , you can remotely control this unit via RS422C or the Ethernet port located on the back of the unit.

6. How to Operate 41 6-7. LIVE 6-7.1. FULL SCREEN ▫ Full SCREEN is available in the LIVE mode or the RECORD mode. ▫ Click a certain camera’s screen in the LIVE mode or in the RECORD mode, then a FULL SCREEN will be displayed. ▫ Click t he FULL screen to return to the SPLIT SCREEN.

6. How to Operate 43 6-7.4. LIVE AUDIO ▫ If cameras (up to 16 cameras) have audio function, it wi ll sound in the live mode. ▫ Click the CHANNEL butto n you wish to listen on the MENU bar as shown below (See Fig.6-9). The CHANNEL can be changed by clicking the mouse repeatedly.

Playback Devices In order to payback, plug the USB devices such as external USB HDD, USB memory to the USB port or insert a recorded media (CD-R/W or DVD-R/W) into the DVD-R/W drive. When the devices are ready to playback, the Ready on the corresponding devices w ill be displayed as shown in Fig.
