8 user’ s guide Check with your ISP for spec ifics on your connec tion. Before you can connect to the Inter net an d send or receive e-mail a nd faxes using telephone dial-up, you must connec t your telephone s ervice line to the modem, which is inside the PC.
setting up your pc 9 1 Plug one end of a mode m cable ( D ) into the modem connector ( A ) on the back of the PC ( C ). This connector may be labelled with either Line or a modem connector symb ol. 2 Plug the other end of t he cable ( D ) into the telephon e line socket ( E ) on the wall.
10 user’ s guide To connect the Ethernet c onnector to the network: 1 Plug the netw ork cable into the E thernet connector ( A ) on the back of the PC. WARNING: Do not plug the telephone service line cable or modem cable into the Ethernet connector.

If you use Add or Remove Prog rams in the Control P anel to delete a software program, the shortcut in All Programs may not be removed.

Slide the access panel back (2) about 1 inch (2.5 cm), and then lift it up and off the unit. removing the pc access panel on the S0000 series model WARNING: Beware of sharp edges inside the chassis.
