1 Read all instructions before using this appliance . S a ve these instructions for future refer ence. Hav e your applianc e properly installed and grounded b y a qualied technician in acc ordance with the Na tional Electrical Code ANSI/NFP A No . 70 – latest edition, and local code requirements .
2 T o a void risk of electrical shock, personal injur y , or death, make sure your r ange has been properly grounded and always disconnect it from the main po wer supply before ser vicing . DO NO T touch cook top burners or areas near burners. Gas burners may be hot even if they have been o f or some time.
3 Use the Right Siz e Pan This appliance is equipped with burners of dier ent sizes. Use utensils with at bottoms . Do not use unstable pans and position the handles away fr om the edge of the cooktop. Make sure the ames are under the pans . It is not safe to let the ames burn up the sides of the pan; the handle may get too hot.
4 Always keep c ombustible wall coverings or cur tains etc . a safe distance awa y from your range . DO NO T spray aerosols in the vicinity of the range while it is in use. Do not store or use combustible mat er ials , or ammable liquids in the vicinity of this appliance.
5 OFF LO HI 2. R ange Ov er view The dual fuel single cavity range cooker (F ig.2-1) has the following f eatures: A. 5 hotplate burners including a wok burner B.
6 ArtNo.31 1-0002 Pan with rim The igniter should spark and light the gas . Keep holding the knob pressed in to let the gas through to the burner for about ten seconds. If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed.
7 W ok Burner The wok burner is designed to pr ovide even heat over a lar ge area. It is ideal for large pans and stir-frying (Fig .2-8) . F or heating smaller pans, the aforementioned hotpla te burners may be more ecient. Y ou can remove the burner par ts f or cleaning; see ‘Cleaning your cook er ’ .

17 Cooktop ignition or c ooktop burners faulty Is the power on? Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner holes blocked by debris? Are the burner heads correctly located? See the section entitled ‘Cleaning ’ . Remember that each cooktop burner has a special safety device that stops the o w of gas if the ame goes out.
18 The timed ov en is not coming on when automatic cooking Has the oven knob been left in the OFF position by mistake? Is the oven locked (see abov e)? Oven tempera ture getting hotter as the range gets older If turning the k nob down has not w orked or only worked for a short time then you may need a new thermostat.

20 Main T op Lift away pots or pans from the main top . Remove the gra tes from the spillage area and car efully place in a sink of warm soapy water . Wipe loose debris fr om the main top. F or best results use a liquid detergen t cleaner . R inse with cold wa ter and thoroughly dry with a clean, sof t cloth.
21 T o remo ve and ret the telescopic rack and runners Slide the rack out on the runners. While holding one of the runners securely , carefully lift the rear of the rack upwar ds: the rack will spring clear of the central r estraining tab . R epeat for the opposite side of the rack.
22 T o c ancel the self cleaning c y cle T o canc el the self-clean func tion, hold down the [ D ] butt on and then press the [–] button to set the timer back t o ( 0.00 ). The heating part of the c ycle will end and the c ooling par t of the cycle will star t.
