IMPORTANT Connect th e speakers, antenn as, and all optional equ ipm ent first. Then connect the A C c ord. There are no differences betw een th e front speakers as w ell as th e surround speak ers. Both speakers of its kin d can be connected as L (left) or R (rig ht).
5 Connect the video equipm ent. Connect the VIDEO/AUX jack of this unit to the audio output j ack of the video equipment w ith an optional audio connectin g cord. 6 Connect the T elevisi on to the video eq uipm ent. Refer to the Operatin g Instructions of the connected equipm ent for details.

When to replace the batteries The maximu m operatio nal distance between the rem ote co ntro l and the sensor on the main unit should be appr oxim ately 5 meters (16 f eet). W h en this distance decreases, replace the batteries w ith new on es. Using the rem ote control The instructions in this manual refer mainly to the b uttons on the m ain unit.

Playback of the inserted disc begins, or th e previously tu ned station is received (Direct Play Function). POWER is also available. When the unit is turned on, the disc compartm ent may open and close to reset the un it.

However, if the clo ck is not set, the gam e Demo will begin w hen th e powe r is turned off.
The mode will be automatically set after 4 seconds. It will also be set if ENTER is pressed within 4 seconds after step 3.
