4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 24 4.2 EZ SETUP The EZ SETUP is a presetting wiza rd which meant to help y ou install the 4 Ports 11g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router quickly and easily . Click on “Wizard” and the following screen will pop-up. Follow t he St eps describe below to complete your installation.
4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 25 STEP 1. Select your country from the Cou ntry list and the ADSL service provider from the ISP List (If there are more than two ISP in your country) and note the “Encap sulation” type and “VPI & VCI” setting.

Click “Next” after your choice and the following screen will pop-up: Select LAN: Select LAN group from the drop down manual. There are three Ethernet Brid ges you can select from the drop down li st or leave it in the default mode.

4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 34 4.3 CONFIG The CONFIG configuration page allows you to create new connectio ns, edit existing connections, and configure other basic settings in WAN a nd LAN mode. The CONFIG Menu is divided into two sections : LAN Setup and WAN Setup .
4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 35 4.3.1 CONFIG - WAN Setup W AN Setup: The WAN configuration page allows you to set the configuration for the WAN/ADSL ports. ADSL connections can be configured in a variety of ways depending on the ISP/WA N configuration, an d the requirements of your home or office LAN.

A Ne w Connection is basically a virtual connection. This 4 Ports 11g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Rout er can support up to 8 different (Unique) vi rtual connections.

4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 43 ; VCI: A Virtual Channel Identifier is a virtual c hannel that is identified by a unique numerical tag that is defined by a 16-bit field in the AT M cell header. The purpose of the virtual chan nel is to identify where the cell should travel.

4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 47 ; CDVT: Cell Delay V ariation T ime. The Cell Delay V ariation is a term used in A TM (Asynchronous T r ansfer Mode) to describe the time diff erence that is acceptable b etween cells being presented at the receiving host.

4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 60 4.3.2.1 LAN Setup - LAN Configuration Click LAN Configuratio n and the following screen will be shown. Click Add or Remov e Interfaces from list under the different LAN Group. The LAN Group features only supported under Bridge Mode setting.

4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 66 Enable DHCP Server: Click the radio button to enable the DHCP Server. By default, your Ports 11g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router has DHCP server (LAN side ) enabled.
4 Ports 1 1g Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router 67 Apply: Click Apply to complete the setting. Cancel: Click Cancel to ignore all the changes. To complete and save the setting, click Save All after clicking the Apply button.
