If y ou connect the unit through a VCR, the pla ybac k picture will be distorted because D V D discs are copy protected.

Progressive output (D VD) Some TVs or monitors are equipped with Component Video inputs that are capab le of reproducing a progressiv ely scanned video signal. Attention: Make sure y our TV supports progressive scan component video signal.

T urn on your TV and f ollow the instructions included with it to select the VIDEO function which corresponds to the VIDEO IN jac k that is connected to the main unit.
