Operating the hob 12 After approx. 5 seconds, the flashing stops and the clock displays the time set. The appliance is now ready to use. 3 The time can only be changed if no auto matic function (Cook time or End time ) has been set. Using the Oven 14 Switching on the dual fry/cook area 1 The control for the dual fry/cook ar ea is switched on by turning to the right, and cannot be turned past the stop! 1. Turn the dual f ry/cook contro l to the right. Continue turning to P osition 9, and onto the symbol (you will fee l a slight resistance).
15 Using the Oven Switching the Oven On and Off 1. Turn the ov en functions dial to the de sired function. 2. Turn the te mperatur e selector to the desired temper ature. The power indicator is lit as long as the oven is in operation. The temperatur e pilot light is lit as long as the oven is heating up.

37 Cleaning and Care • P our approx. 1/2 litre of water into the baking tr ay so that sufficient moisture is produced in the oven. • As soon as the liquid starts to pearl in the first jar s ( after about 3560 minutes with 1 litre jars), switch the oven off or r educe the temperatur e to 1 00 °C (see table).
Cleaning and Care 38 Outside of the appliance • Wipe the front of the appliance with a soft cloth and warm water and wash ing up liquid. • For metal fr onts, use normal com mercially available cleaning agents. Cooking surface 1 Important: Cleaning agents must not be used on hot glass ceramic surfaces.
