8 5 BASIC RADIO OPERA TION E100 OWNER’S MANU AL IMPORT ANT INITIAL SET -UP 1. Assure tha t the radio is unlock ed, using the L OCK switch (24) on right side o f the radio by pushing it down, t o the OFF position. This switch can be used t o lock the radio when it is not in use or when tra veling.

Each lled memory is accessed f or about 5 seconds, a fter which the scan mov e on to the next used memory automa tically, staying on it f or about 5 seconds.
