Installing the CPU Fan There are man y differe nt fan types that can be used with th is motherbo ard. Follow t he instruction th at came with you fan assembly. Be sure that t he fan orientati on is correct for y our chassis type and y our fan assem bly.
Use the foll owing procedu re to install the I/O shiel d and secure th e motherboard i nto the chassis. Installing the I/O Shield The moth erboard kit comes with an I/O shie ld that is used to block radio frequency transmissio ns, protects in ternal component s from dust an d foreign objects, a nd promot es correct airfl ow within t he chassis.
24 -pin ATX Power (ATXPOWER) ATXPOWER is the m ain power su pply con nector locat ed along the edge of t he board ne xt to the DIMM slots. Mak e sure that the power suppl y cable and pi ns are pro perly align ed with th e connector o n the moth erboard.
Front Panel Header (F_PANEL) The front panel head er on this motherbo ard is one con nector used to con nect the following fo ur cables. PLED Attach th e front panel power LED cable to th ese two pins of t he connector. The Power LED in dicates the system’s st atus.
