16 3.2 PRE-STA RT 3.2.1 Fill fuel t ank. For best result s use only clean, fr esh regular grade unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or hig her. Reg ular g rade leaded g asoline may also be used; however, combustion chamber and cylinder head will requir e more f req uent service.

20 a) Check the voltage of the bat tery with a digital voltm eter. Locate the voltag e reading of the bat tery in the table below and charg e the batter y for t he recommended t ime interval to br ing the char ge up to a f ull char ge of 12.6 volts or great er.
21 3) Install blade bolt and spr ing disc washer. Be sure the spr ing disc washer cone is installed towards the bolt head. Place a block of wood between front or rear baf f les and the blade then t orque t he blade bolts to 55-60 f t-lbs. (75-81 N-m ).

33 5. WA STE DISPOSAL 5.1 MOTOR OIL DISPOSA L Engine oil and hydraulic oil are both pollut ants to t he environment. Dispose of used oil at a certif ied recycling cent er or according to your stat e and local regulat ions.
