25 For the first self-clean cycle, we recommend venting your kitchen with an open window or using a ventilation fan or hood. Remove the broiler pan, broiler grid, all cookware and any aluminum foil from the oven—they cannot withstand the high cleaning temperatures.

The electrode of the spark igniter is exposed when the burner head is removed. When one burner is turned to LITE, all the burners spark. Do not attempt to disassemble or clean around any burner while another burner is on. An electric shock may result, which could cause you to knock over hot cookware.

W ash burner caps in hot, soapy water and rinse with clean water . Y ou may scour with a plastic scouring pad to remove burned-on food particles.

LEVELING THE RANGE A. Install the oven shelves in the oven and position the range where it will be installed. B. Check for levelness by placing a spirit level or a cup, partially filled with water , on one of the oven shelves. If using a spirit level, take two readings—with the level placed diagonally first in one direction and then the other .
